Pastor Lionel d. Wilson

The Reverend Lionel D. Wilson is a native from the rural area of Louisiana. He was called to minister at the age of eighteen. While serving his local church for one year, at the age of nineteen he was called to pastor Peter Rock Baptist Church of Monroe, LA. God has favored Reverend Wilson by allowing tremendous and explosive growth to accompany his ministry. Two years into Pastoring at the Peter Rock Baptist Church, God elevated Reverend Wilson to also become the Senior Pastor of the St. Mark Baptist Church of Bonita, LA. After six years of his pastorial duties at St. Mark Baptist Church, Reverend Wilson prayerfully resigned with the decision to go as full time pastor at Peter Rock Baptist Church, where he served for twelve years.


After several years of faithful service in the Ministry, in 2008 the Lord directed Reverend Wilson to relocate to the Atlanta, GA area to attend Beulah Heights University to expand his studies for the Ministry. Reverend Wilson has a desire to attain all the knowledge about God to share with the nation. In August 2009, he became the proud, prestigious and prominent pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Locust Grove GA. A church on a mission to, “Revive the Saints, Recover the Fallen and Reach the Lost.". A church that is changing the atmosphere of the way we traditionally view ministry.

Reverend Lionel D. Wilson is on a mission to build a ministry that will reach across ethnic, racial, and denominational boundaries. One of this nation’s most loved pastor, preacher and teacher, he is a young powerful Man of God with a clear, solid and profound message with a mission to empower the saints and educate the believer's. Reverend Wilson has a great passion for teaching God’s Word coupled with the tremendous love for God’s people. Reverend Wilson is truly a man of God preaching "A Challenging Word for a Changing World,’’ that even those who are "Spiritually Challenged" can become a conquer.
